Hey so I should be studying for philosophy, but I'm feeling pretty chill, so I'm taking a break.
We don't really have finals because we're in performing arts school so we've just been having final projects. I finished my five page script and its alright. I probably will end up rewriting it for myself, but for now its good. I directed a scene which was quite nerve wracking - as well as acting in a SUPER awkward scene where my director and professor kept telling me I was just trying to get the other actor into the bedroom and fuck his brains out. They kept being like "do what you do to get guys in bed" and all I could think of was like...I'm awkward at that! Plus the guy used to have a crush on me that I was acting with and our professor made us hold hands and hug for a long time so we would feel more comfortable. It did not work. She also kept telling me how handsome he was and how much he would want me to be all over him. It was so hilarious and awful. I just finished my last paper for Writing the Essay and it blows, but at least its done. I was supposed to send it in at noon today but I overslept (long story) but my professors awesome so it'll be fine. On the last day of class we just watched parts of Wickerman and laughed a lot. He's great and I'll miss him.
We had our last day of Sound Image (SOOO SADDDD) and we played all our personal projects. This section is about to get pretty braggy, so you're warned. Barbara started crying during mine and had to go out in the hall and compose herself. She told me it was really really good. They were all blown away that my dad was such a good actor and thought that I had hired someone to play the part. After class we went to lunch with Barbara and she gave me the scripts to Black Swan and 127 Hours because I'm a writer. It was so sweet. She kept telling me how much she liked my project and after class she emailed me that my project was her favorite and that it was the only one that made her feel something. When she hugged me goodbye she said to keep writing. It was so wonderful.
After that last night we all worked on homework and watched Pineapple Express. We went to midnight breakfast (title explains it all) and Jesse and Ian and I got super high which was DELIGHTFUL when we were surrounded by rooms of free breakfast foods.
The only bad thing was my friend Joanna...is really...hard to deal with. She's really intense and very possessive. She had asked to hang out and I've really been needing a break from her because she's so intense. She's the sort of person that when she comes to a party she wants to hang out with JUST me and she gets mad when I don't want to hang out with just her. She also...calls me if I don't answer her texts or facebook ims like "did you get my text" I really do like her, but I just don't deal well with that. So at midnight breakfast I had told her I was studying in my room and she ran into me and like....grabbed my arm and got really mad at me for not telling her I was going. She's also from a very wealthy very sheltered county in New York. She means well and isn't a mean person but makes a lot of comments that aren't really...politically correct. Like she was really offended when a guy asked her if she was gay and she was telling Hannah about it (who..is gay...)
So after midnight breakfast we came back, finished Pineapple Express, and than Ian and I listened to a ton of Eminem and just goofed around and rapped a bunch. We ended up watching all these really awful b movies on netflix instant watch (Bachelor Party in the Bungalow of the Damned, Zombie Strippers, and my personal favorite, Dagmar's Hot Pants Company).

Coming to an end
Here's the quick update on my life!
Last weekend we threw an epic Hanukkah party with lots of alcohol and jewiness. We went out to Sushi Samba for Sabrina's birthday and had this giant meal where they brought us like ten courses of japanese food and sushi. It was so delicious and after Laura and I figured out that the meal must've been a hundred dollars per person. It was amazing. We even got this metal tree thing filled with fruity drinks. After that we bought supplies for the party and partied it up. It was crazy that we didn't get written up by our RA because there was like thirty people in our dorm room being really loud and drinking and everything. It was super fun. My friend Marisa and Ian (my used to be potential boy interest and now friend) hooked up on my bed which was super awkward and hilarious. I ended up hanging out with my friend Alex a ton and we snuggled up drunk and it was delightful.
The next night we went to this party at the Brooklyn Museum which was sorta lame, but the galleries were open so we ended up walking around and looking at all these amazing Norman Rockwell paintings. After that we just sat around in my dorm room for awhile and Alex and I ended up watching Inglourious Basterds and doing some epic hand holding and it was - again - delightful.
This week has been crazy busy with projects due and everything. We had our second to last sound image class and I was so sad. We finished our group project and it sounds AMAZING. You should hit me up if you want to listen to it because I want to show it off so much! After class we hung out in Barbara's office which was super nice cause she gave us candy and talked to us about our lives for a really long time. It was so great because she asked me if I wanted to be a writer and I said yes, of course, and she said that I definitely needed to be because there weren't enough writers in our program and that if you have a gift you should use it. I love her and I'm going to miss her class so much. :(
Last night we went to Black Swan which was CRAZY GOOD. Seriously, see it asap, your mind will be blown. It was really silly though because Joanna is a super dramatic...and sort of possessive person and she had a thing for Alex and she got really mad at me at the movie for sitting next to him and it was just very...high school and stupid. Blah. Now she's mad at me and honestly...its nice to have a break. I can't handle people that are that dramatic and demanding. Like she's constantly mad at me for little things - like she yelled at me for saying "I don't know" too much. After that a bunch of us went to our friend Ethan's room, which he calls the Brothel, and drank PBR and smoked. It was awesome cause my friend Ally from sound image came with us and ended up sleeping in our room. I love her and I want to be better friends with her so it was really nice to get to know her. We ended up talking about a bunch of hilarious awkward stuff - like where's the weirdest place you've ever masturbated.
Now I'm about to go to my LAST philosophy recitation :( :( :(
I'm so excited for Christmas and coming home...but I'm really dreading the rest of break. I don't want to go back to work at Family Video at all...and I'm going to be homesick..for New York. I felt like such a visitor in my house, even my mom agreed, over Thanksgiving. I love you guys so much, but my life here is always moving forward - I'm doing so much creative work that I'm proud of and the relationships are developing and I feel like winter break will be a giant pause that I'm not ready for. I'm going to try to go see as many movies as possible and get some creative projects done just to keep my mind busy. Can't wait to see you guys and do our secret santa thing though. :)

All of the Lights
Hey guys! First of all you should all go listen to My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy by Kanye because its sooo good. I'll be home in two weeks...its going to quickly. I can't wait for all the preChristmas season. I'm going to go see so many movies and do so many festive things. I'm pretty apprehensive about the weeks after Christmas because I don't want to go back to work at Family Video and I'm going to miss things here...but I'm excited for right now. :)
So Thanksgiving was interesting. I stayed up all night in LaGuardia before my flight which was insanely tiring and I finally got home after the longest night ever of camping out on the floor of the airport watching Angels in America. I got so nervous when I was getting off the plane - it was so crazy being home...sort of like I'd never been gone, but also sort of like I had been gone forever. It was interesting to see everybody, but I really wish I had seen everyone more, but there's always winter break. Thanksgiving was really nice - delicious food (my parents bought all my favorite foods which was so sweet it made me cry) and nice to cuddle my dogs again and Black Friday was so much. And the sleep after about 48 hours of being awake was SO NICE.
Just for clarity - I am not back together with Max or anything. On Friday night we went to the parking lot near the Nature Center (that Justin and Averee frequent lol) and drank four loko and pbr and ended up running around on the road. It was really fun and nice to be back in nature for a little bit. We ended up...having sex and basically decided that while we're both single we might as well because we know each other really well and we're comfortable with each other. I was freaking out a lot about it but I talked to Max about it a lot - just like that I didn't want to make anything harder for him and for him to next expect anything over winter break - and I don't think anything will be happening over Christmas.
The break went way too fast and I was back in New York on Monday. I rushed back to my classes and saw my friends. Classes have been good - a lot of projects going on. Everybody's been in good moods because Christmas is so soon, but we're super busy. On Tuesday we were randomly hanging out in the piano room in Hayden (which is a dorm) and than Laura and some of her friends from classes showed up and we all had this giant jam session and played and sang Beatles music. On Wednesday we went to a screening of Sabrina's dad's movie which she was in. It was really fun and tonight Sabrina is taking us out for her birthday dinner (she's...super..rich...). Last night we hung out with some of Laura's friends who are super bros and it was really refreshing to not be with...super artsy hipsters.
Tonight we're having a Hanukkah party in my room that's going to involve sweaters, dreidels, and lots of drinking. So bye (and happy hanukkah I guess...)!
